Dual Scoring

چکیده
For any strictly proper scoring rule, we provide a full dual characterization of the optimal announcement of an agent with a quasiconcave, continuous, and increasing utility function. The dual characterization leverages the notion of indirect utility. We use this characterization to construct a strictly proper scoring rule which uniformly bounds misreports when risk aversion is bounded above by a known threshold. Further, for any strictly proper scoring rule and tolerance for error, misreports are uniformly bounded above by the tolerance for some nontrivial risk aversion parameter.

A hybrid approach to integrate genetic algorithm into dual scoring model in enhancing the performance of credit scoring model
Credit scoring model is an important tool for assessing risks in financial industry, consequently the majority of financial institutions actively develops credit scoring model on the credit approval assessment of new customers and the credit risk management of existing customers. Nonetheless, most past researches used the one-dimensional credit scoring model to measure customer risk. In this st...
متن کاملClinical, Echocardiographic, and Electrocardiographic Predictors of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation after Dual-Chamber Pacemaker Implantation: An Integrated Scoring Model Approach
Persistent atrial fibrillation (PeAF) predictors after dual-chamber pacemaker (PM) implantation remain unclear. We sought to determine these predictors and establish an integrated scoring model. Data were retrospectively reviewed for 649 patients (63.8 ± 12.3 years, 48.6% male, mean CHA2DS2-VASC score 2.7 ± 2.0) undergoing dual-chamber PM implantation. PeAF was defined as documented AF on two c...
متن کاملImpact of BPRS interview length on ratings reliability in a schizophrenia trial
Signal detection in clinical trials relies on ratings reliability. We conducted a reliability analysis of site-independent rater scores derived from audio-digital recordings of site-based rater interviews of the structured Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) in a schizophrenia study. "Dual" ratings assessments were conducted as part of a quality assurance program in a 12-week, double-blind, p...
متن کاملComplexity Dichotomies for Unweighted Scoring Rules
Scoring systems are an extremely important class of election systems. We study the complexity of manipulation, constructive control by deleting voters (CCDV), and bribery for scoring systems. For manipulation, we show that for all scoring rules with a constant number of different coefficients, manipulation is in P. And we conjecture that there is no dichotomy theorem. On the other hand, we obta...
متن کاملTwo credit scoring models based on dual strategy ensemble trees
Decision tree (DT) is one of the most popular classification algorithms in data mining and machine learning. However, the performance of DT based credit scoring model is often relatively poorer than other techniques. This is mainly due to two reasons: DT is easily affected by (1) the noise data and (2) the redundant attributes of data under the circumstance of credit scoring. In this study, we ...
